That one cannot score points simply by reducing the portion sizes to the 80s nouvelle cuisine level, tripling the prices and thinking of becoming a star restaurant as a result, is shown by this restoration near the beautiful Loreley. Here one obviously suffers from extreme overconfidence. To be objective: the food tastes okay. Home-style okay. But the overall concept and the staff show clear weaknesses. You don't have the right hand for upscale guests here. The rural-rural wooden hammer style of the Hinterlahnkreis is more prevalent here - you can see the real roots that cannot be covered up by a complete renovation. You don't react in a professional, friendly and discreet manner to constructively nice criticism in relation to portion sizes and misleading names of the dishes, but instead start a discussion in the style of Frank Plasberg, which is just plain ridiculous and grotesque. Here you should train your staff accordingly and not equip the first maid from the cowshed with a bow tie and let go of the guests. Again: this meal in a suitable framework, such as pricing, portion sizes and friendly presentation would be in the green area - such an absolute no-go.

Very good food, the service staff is very friendly and motivated. The view is phenomenal !!!! I can only recommend the Loreley Hotel !!!!

Excellent cuisine, great service, everyone is very nice🥰 We always feel very comfortable there and the food is always a pleasure😍 The rooms are also very nice and very clean. This hotel and restaurant is the right place to relax.

We celebrated our wedding in the Fetz das Loreleyhotel and were completely satisfied. The planning was detailed and all requests were taken into account. The team was friendly and flexible. The food was very tasty. The location is very modern and has a great view. The hotel room is also bright and friendly. Thank you for the great day with you!

Pure surprise. Very good food, unusual menu, trained staff, very friendly. Everything was very clean. Even the Corona hygiene is impeccable, unfortunately that is not really the case everywhere. A trip through a lot of areas, but it was definitely worth it.

This hotel is beautifully located on the Rheinsteig. If you start the stage in Kaub early in the morning, you could have a nice, small second breakfast there. Could! A sign at the entrance makes it clear to you that day visitors are not welcome! That's really a pity!

The hotel has wines from its own winery, which is located directly below the hotel, and from a neighboring winemaker. The rooms are very spacious and well furnished, only the beds could be a little more comfortable. From the hotel there are perfect opportunities to hike to the Loreley or to Kaub.

The restaurant offers a small menu for lunch. Small but nice; Enjoy a piece of cake and a hot drink on the terrace in the sun. Absolutely to suggest. If you're looking forward to a piece of meat here, you have to come in the evening.

You would not expect such a wonderful experience in such a small village - the food, the drinks, the service: it was really amazing. We‘ve been warmly welcomed, the kids menu was just to the point and as you can clearly see from the pictures: it was as delicious as it looked. We will love to come again.

We look forward to our next visit anyway, because the food was excellent. The lettuce leaves could, however can be cut a little smaller in the kitchen.

I was here from a Rheinsteig hike 2 years ago. It was a real treat. I can only recommend all hikers to divide the stages so that you stay overnight here. Actually too good for just one night. I'm pretty much done with the Rheinsteig and it was by far the best of all the accommodations. I'll be back for a longer time I have made up my mind.
